Granada

The route through the province of Granada starts in Ventas de Zafarraya. Generally speaking, it follows the length of the GR-7 trail, crossing through the Valle de Lecrín (which in Arabic means 'the valley of happiness') and entering into the Apujarras by way of Lanjarón. From the capital of the region, we head up to the typical Apujarran villages of Pampaneira, Capileira y Trevélez and we continue through the Apujarras (Mecina Bombarón, Juviles, Laroles) searching for el Puerto de Ragua (Ragua Pass) and the province of Almería in order to make our way to Laujar de Andarax.
