From Laroles we'll head towards Bayarcal, a village of the region of 'Las Alpujarras' but already into the Province of Almería. Bayarcal is situated on the hillside of the mountain Chullo (2.611 m., highest peak into the Province of Almería) and the village, that is 1.255 m. high above sea level, can also show off to be the highest village into the Province. According to their inhabitants, there you breathe the purest air all over Europe. The houses come directly of the moorish traditional architecture.

We'll leave that village by road, but shortly after we'll begin a long climb to Área Recreativa de Monterrey in a beatiful forest. Then, we'll enjoy a long descent to finally meet Laujar de Andarax, most populated village on La Alpujarra Almeriense.
