In this stretch, we travel through the westernmost zone of the Sierra de Segura. From Aldeas de Hornos, we descend to the Embalse del Tranco (Tranco reservoir). We ride along the shore, following the "Camino de la Confederación" for 10 km until we reach the dam. The village of El Tranco is located here, as well as some bars to get one's strength back.

From here we must climb up to Las Cumbres de Beas (the peaks of Beas), traveling first via an asphalt road, and then via 6 km of track, only to end up leaving the peaks behind us as we descend to Beas de Segura.
