| Aldeahermosa - Aldeaquemada (38.6 kms.) |

Author: Luis Cano Translator: Elaine Griffin
From Aldeahermosa, we begin from Calle Real (Royal Street), which coincides with the roman road Via Auguta, where we leave the pavement to enter the Sierra Morena.
For nearly 40 kilometers, the track passes through rugged mountain areas, crossing channels of the rivers Dañador and Guadalén (where the fords can be difficult during rainy periods) and then gaining altitude toward Aldeaquemada.
We pass a four-way crossing called "Cuatro Caminos". Now, for a little more than two kilometers, the route travels through the estate "La Parrilla". The road is blocked with a chain, but it is classified as a public right-of-way according to local government information. Consider that potentially aggressive cattle may be grazing on the estate.
